Underwater photoshoot experience in Cenotes:
Tulum & Playa del Carmen

Private underwater sessions for individuals and couples, designed for all levels — even if you have no previous experience.

Each photoshoot is fully guided and adapted to your comfort in the water, combining artistic direction, natural light, and carefully selected cenotes to create powerful, high-end images.

What to expect?

We’ll meet at a cenote located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum early in the morning, when the light conditions are at their best.

Before entering the water, I’ll guide you through breathing techniques and simple underwater movements so you feel comfortable and in control. No modeling or diving experience is required.

The session lasts approximately 2  hours. We’ll work with one or two outfits depending on the package, taking short breaks between sets to rest and warm up.

Throughout the session, I guide you step by step to create natural, elegant images — focusing on movement, posture and light.

Why I Choose Cenotes?

Cenotes offer consistently clear visibility, calm water with no current, and natural conditions that make the experience accessible even if it’s your first time.

Unlike the ocean, there are no waves or unpredictability — allowing you to relax, control your movements and focus on creating strong, natural images.

Each cenote has its own unique scenery: light beams cutting through the water, rock formations, mangroves and open jungle surroundings that create a setting impossible to replicate anywhere else.

Because of these conditions, every session feels different while still offering a controlled and comfortable environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cenote is located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, 20 minutes each way.

You don’t need to be a strong swimmer. We stay at the surface and work in calm, shallow areas, and I guide you throughout the session.

Absolutely. Doing a session in the water will not cause any impact on your baby. We will make sure that you feel comfortable and safe everytime, and we will take a break if you feel very cold.

Underwater photo sessions start early in the morning (8-8.30 am max).
The reason is the quality of the morning light and that at that time there are practically no people

The transportation is not included. If you have your own car I will send you the location and we are gonna meet in the entrance. Otherwise you have local buses leaving from Playa del Carmen and Tulum that leave you at cenote entrance.

In case you are located in PDC I can organice a trusted taxi for you with an extra fee.

I have a selection of fabrics, as well as some skirts and dresses available for the session.

You’re also welcome to bring your own outfits — I’ll guide you beforehand to make sure everything works well with the cenote environment.

Just a few seconds will be enough to have a good photo!

This is completely up to you. We can do all the photoshooting underwater or we can do some above the water (with the head out of the water). Cenotes are beautiful and perfect places, with a unique light and atmosphere to photograph both in and out of the water.

I recommend you to remove during the photoshooting, because is very common to lose them. In case you want to use them anyway, no problem. Just bring another pair in case they fall off.

Yes! Underwater photos are more difficult to edit due to several factors. But I am quite detailed at this point and I love working with colors and lighting.

Of course! You can select more photos for 350 mx pesos each.

Some people prefer to leave that job to me and I take care of the selection and others prefer to do it themselves. In this last case, in the 2 days after the photo session I will send you all the photos (unedited and with watermark) so that you can make your selection.

A 30% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is paid on the day of the session, after the photoshoot.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund of the deposit.

If cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled session.

In case of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, the session will be rescheduled.

It usually takes me between 7 to 10 days. You’ll receive a private online gallery via email, where you can view and download your selected images

It depends a lot on the season. Preferably 1 week before. In case of availability, I take reservations 48 hours in advance to make sure I have everything organized. If you have any question or if you are ready to book a session, contact me through this website or whatsapp. We will find a date that both suit us.
