Experience a cenote photoshoot designed for those who want the atmosphere of the cenote without necessarily being fully underwater.
Sessions can take place at the water’s surface, half in/ half out, or in the surrounding jungle — always guided and adapted to your comfort.
This experience is for you if:

You want a mix of water, light and jungle in the same session

What makes this different?
This is not an underwater photoshoot.
The entire session takes place above the water or at the surface, combining natural movement in shallow areas, half-water portraits and moments in the surrounding jungle.
Because you are never fully submerged, the experience feels more relaxed, accessible and easier to enjoy from the beginning.
The focus is on creating natural, powerful images while staying connected to the environment — without the physical demands of a full underwater session.
How this photoshoot works?
We meet at the cenote early in the morning, when the light is softer and the space is quieter.
Before starting, I guide you through simple positioning and movement so you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
We begin with the easiest part of the session — usually above water or at the surface — and gradually explore different areas depending on your comfort level.
The session flows naturally between water and land, without rushing, allowing you to relax and enjoy the environment.

The cenote is located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, 20 minutes each way.
No. This session is designed to stay above water or at the surface only. If you’re looking for fully underwater images, that’s a different experience.
I’ll guide you before the session, but for cenote photoshoots, earthy tones tend to work beautifully with the natural surroundings.
Subtle details like shine, metallic elements or pearls can also add a nice contrast and catch the light in a unique way.
I usually recommend solid colors, so the focus stays on the cenote and the overall atmosphere rather than busy patterns.
Underwater photo sessions start early in the morning (8-9 am max).
The reason is the quality of the morning light and that at that time there are practically no people
The transportation is not included. If you have your own car I will send you the location and we are gonna meet in the entrance. Otherwise you have local buses leaving from Playa del Carmen and Tulum that leave you at cenote entrance.
In case you are located in PDC I can organice a trusted taxi for you with an extra fee.
Yes! Underwater photos are more difficult to edit due to several factors. But I am quite detailed at this point and I love working with colors and lighting.
Of course! You can select more photos for 350 mx pesos each.
Some people prefer to leave that job to me and I take care of the selection and others prefer to do it themselves. In this last case, in the 2 days after the photo session I will send you all the photos (unedited and with watermark) so that you can make your selection.
A 30% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is paid on the day of the session, after the photoshoot.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund of the deposit.
If cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a rescheduled session.
In case of heavy rain or unsafe conditions, the session will be rescheduled.
It depends a lot on the season. Preferably 1 week before. In case of availability, I take reservations 48 hours in advance to make sure I have everything organized.
